Manage your TikTok Shop orders on AfterShip Shipping

Overview



AfterShip Shipping is a TikTok Shop-partnered app designed to simplify your shipping process. You can easily find and install it directly from your TikTok Shop merchant portal.

TikTok Shop App & Services

TikTok Shop offers two types of shipping options:

Ship by TikTok: TikTok Shop handles order fulfillment.
Ship by Seller: Sellers can choose their own logistics service provider (carrier) from TikTok Shop-approved integrated carriers. AfterShip Shipping supports the following approved carriers:

Royal Mail (24®Tracked / 48®Tracked)
EVRI
DPD UK
Yodel
UPS
DHL Express
FedEx
APC Overnight

Please note that the order flow in AfterShip Shipping may differ slightly, so make sure to follow the TikTok shipping guidelines when shipping your orders.

Manage Ship by TikTok orders



Shipment status



The current status of a shipment is displayed in AfterShip Shipping. An order can have one of the following statuses:

Pending Payment: The order is unpaid or partially paid.

Generally, no action is needed when the order is in this status. Once payment is made, the order will move to Awaiting shipment.

Awaiting Shipment: The order is being prepared for shipment.

Since TikTok handles the shipping, you’ll only need to verify the order information and then click Create label.
When you click Create label, AfterShip Shipping requests TikTok to initiate the handover process, which is equivalent to TikTok's step of Order handover to platform shipping carrier.

Shipped: After the Create labelaction is completed and TikTok processes the request, the order status will change to Shipped.

You can download the TikTok shipping label once the status is updated to Shipped.
The time to generate labels may vary depending on the shipping carrier.
Please note that this status does not mean the order has been delivered to the customer. The order status in TikTok Shop will remain Awaiting Collection.

Others: This includes canceled orders.

Quick notes



For Ship by TikTok orders, only two actions are needed in AfterShip Shipping:

Create Label: For orders in Awaiting shipment status.
Print Label: For orders in Shippedstatus.

Shipment status



The current status of a shipment is shown in AfterShip Shipping. An order can have one of the following statuses:

Pending Payment: The order is unpaid or partially paid.
No action is needed while the order is in this status. Once payment is received, the order will move to "Awaiting Shipment."

Awaiting Shipment: The order is being prepared for shipping.
You can only select TikTok Shop-approved integrated carriers and services to create the shipping label.

Label Generated: A shipping label has been generated.
Once the parcels are handed over to the carrier, you can mark the order as "Shipped." The tracking number and carrier details will sync back to TikTok Shop.

Shipped: The order is fulfilled externally or has been moved from "Label Generated" to "Shipped."

Others: This includes canceled orders.

Generate packing slips



If you need to print a packing slip along with the shipping label automatically, AfterShip Shipping supports this feature.

To enable it, go to Settings > Document Options > Generate packing slips.

If you wish to generate separate packing slips, go to each order's detail page and generate the slip manually.

Filter orders



You can filter TikTok Shop orders for a better view and management of your shipment process by applying the Store filter.
