Check Label History in AfterShip Shipping

AfterShip Shipping provides a convenient way to track all your label history within your Shipping dashboard. This includes your Shipping and Returns/Warranty product labels along with the different statuses such as Created, Failed, and Voided Labels

Log into your AfterShip Shipping account.
Navigate to Label history to view your label records. The label history data is available for the past 365 days.
By default, the dashboard displays labels with Product set to Shipping and Status set to Created. You can modify these filter values to view label history for other products or statuses.
Click the Columns icon on the right to adjust column headers visibility and its sequence. You can decide what information you want displayed on the dashboard and what to hide.
Customers can access the Legacy label history button at the top right to switch to the legacy UI.
Only for Enterprise customers
The label history dashboard column headers represent the information you can view for the shipping labels and some of them are also used to filter and sort labels. You can view and hide column headers as per your requirement and apply available filters based on what you are looking for.
You can export label information in CSV or Excel formats by clicking the Export labels button.
Enterprise customers have the option to select Custom format during export.
The exported file will be sent to your account’s email address.
You can only export no more than 100,000 rows of label history at one time.
Label history now includes API logs.
Available for all platforms and plans.
Click on any historical label to view the API logs on the right panel.
You can quickly copy the Label ID and Response payload.
The interface allows you to download associated files like Label, Invoice and Void labels.
a. For return customers, it's recommended to use this page to void labels as needed.
b. The Label button is always visible. Click on it to view the pdf version of the shipping label. For other options to check associated files and void labels, click the {…} to access more details.
Please note that the “Legacy label history” will be unavailable after October 17, 2024. All customers are encouraged to use the new Label history page and its features.
While this feature is accessible to all plans, only Pro and above plan users can utilize the Export button.
Additionally, only Enterprise plan users can set Custom fields as columns.

Order # | The unique identifier for the order associated with the shipment. |
Tracking number | The number to track the shipment. |
Rate | The shipping cost associated with the shipment. |
Carrier | The shipping company/carrier responsible for delivering the package (e.g., UPS, FedEx). |
Shipping service | The specific carrier service used for shipping (e.g., Ground, Express). |
Created date | The date the order was generated. |
Carrier account | The account set up in AfterShip admin associated with the carrier for billing and tracking purposes. |
Weight | The actual weight of the package. |
Chargeable Weight | The weight used to calculate shipping costs, which may differ from actual weight based on dimensions. |
Dimension | The measurements of the package (length, width, height). |
Ship from location | The physical location from which the package is shipped. |
Ship from name | The name of the person or entity shipping the package. |
Ship from company | The company name associated with the shipping entity, if applicable. |
Ship from address line 1 | The primary address line for the shipping origin. |
Ship from address line 2 | Additional address information for the shipping origin, if needed. |
Ship from city | The city from which the package is shipped. |
Ship from state | The state from which the package is shipped. |
Ship from postal code | The postal code for the shipping origin. |
Ship from phone number | The contact phone number for the sender. |
Ship from email | The contact email address for the sender. |
Ship from country/region | The country or region from which the package is shipped. |
Recipient | The name of the person (receiver) to whom the package will be delivered. |
Recipient company | The company name of the recipient, if applicable. |
Recipient address line 1 | The primary address line for the recipient. |
Recipient address line 2 | Additional address information for the recipient, if needed. |
Recipient city | The city where the package is being delivered. |
Recipient state | The state where the package is being delivered. |
Recipient postal code | The postal code for the recipient's address. |
Recipient phone number | The contact phone number for the recipient. |
Recipient email | The contact email address for the recipient. |
Recipient country/region | The country or region where the package is being delivered. |
Items | A list of the items included in the shipment. |
Paid by | Indicates who paid for the shipping label (e.g., sender, recipient). |
Operator | The individual responsible for creating the shipping label or managing the shipment. |
Status | The current status of the shipping label. |
Product | The AfterShip platform (Returns, Shipping, and Warranty) responsible for creating the shipping label or managing the shipment. |
