Add Your Signature to AfterShip Shipping Documents

Overview



AfterShip Shipping allows you to upload your digital signature in AfterShip Shipping generated shipping documents. Using a digital or scanned signature in shipping documents, including commercial invoices, offers several benefits:

Many customs authorities and freight companies require signed documents for clearance. A signature adds authenticity to invoices.
It fastens the processing of international shipments.
A clear, professional signature combined with a company stamp or logo enhances your company’s credibility.

How to upload signature in AfterShip Shipping



If you want to include your signature in AfterShip generated commercial invoices, you first need to upload your virtual signature in the AfterShip Shipping > Settings > Document options > Signature section.

Upload your signature in the recommended size under the Signature section. Make sure you have a scanned image of your signature saved in your desktop/laptop.

Maximum dimensions supported for virtual signature is 600 × 96 px.
File size must be under 500 KB.
PNG format only.

Save the settings.
Test printing a commercial invoice to see if the logo is appearing on your packing slips.

How to add signature in commercial invoices



Once your virtual signature is uploaded in AfterShip Shipping, you need to activate the option to display the signature in AfterShip Shipping generated commercial invoices.

Go to AfterShip Shipping Settings > Document options > Commercial invoice.
Toggle on the option to Show signature on AfterShip generated commercial invoice.
Save the changes.
